The Microsoft Partner Network is engaged in a challenge – raising the profile of and ramping up resulting sales of Microsoft Cloud Services to clients through Partner VARs (Value Added Resellers).
The objective is to empower VARs to go beyond referrals and help them generate their own recurring stream of opportunities by leveraging digital marketing channels.
Microsoft partnered with OutReach to design a program that would help educate and empower their network.
OutReach created digital assessments to evaluate each partner’s online presence and identify any weaknesses and areas of opportunity. A one-on-one consult was provided to educate each partner of our findings and create a personalized priority list of tasks required to achieve their goals.
OutReach worked with Microsoft to create digital marketing plans that would help build a scalable marketing model for partners. Each plan was designed to cater to specific groups of VARs who had similar constraints and challenges. These plans were presented as “next step” solutions after the assessment.
To empower their network, Microsoft provided financial grants to help their partners kickstart their marketing programs.
The program exceeded its expectations from interested partners and helped Microsoft increase their Cloud Services sales across North America.
